Hidden deep within the caves, there is a variety of special items that can be crafted or discovered. These aren’t just stronger tools, they introduce new mechanics, open up new ways to explore and act as milestones in your progression underground. Some of these items are rare and powerful, and can only be obtained by overcoming difficult challenges or venturing into dangerous areas. Others are simply fun utility tools that make exploration more dynamic and rewarding.
Seer’s Relic
This relic acts as an in-game extension of the wiki, allowing to inspect blocks, items, and entities without leaving the game. When held, it reveals detailed information about whatever you’re looking at, including stats and behavior descriptions.

Looking at a dropped item reveals extra information
The Glider completely changes exploration, letting you cross massive caves and deadly enemies with ease.
Once you have equipped the Glider, it will activate automatically when there are no blocks beneath you, enabling you to safely soar across gaps. Simply leap from a ledge and glide to safety.
The Grappling Hook is a high-mobility traversal tool for skilled movement and exploration.
By firing the hook at nearby blocks, you can pull yourself forward or upward. When combined with sprinting or jumping, the Grappling Hook allows for much longer and faster movement, rewarding skilled use.
Pipcaps are cute animals that you can find in the Hyphae Hollow cave. They are great companions, except they have a strong dislike for each other and start fighting on sight.
Upon death, a pipcap can drop itself as a item, that summons an insane pipcap for a short time.

An ancient artifact of a lost civilization which is guarded by the Ancient Serpent. According to legend, all the caves were carved out thousands of years ago using this tool.
