The familiar vanilla cave systems your used to have been completely revamped!Turning the entire subterranean world into something more vibrant and far more alive. With ambient sounds, custom weather, and more! New handcrafted biomes, environments, and sprawling cave systems that feel nothing like standard Minecraft.
There are 22 unique cave types in total, each falling into one of three categories:
Vanilla Caves are similar to what you are familiar with, however now with added ambient visuals and custom mob spawning.
Biome Caves generate in the upper levels of the underground and are located in biomes that fit their style. For example, any cold or frozen biome will have an Ice or Snowy cave below it.
Once you hit deepslate you begin to see the Special Caves. Some are packed with fungal spores, others glow with bioluminescent energy, some open into huge lava lakes, and a few even hide ruins from a world long gone.
You’ll discover far more than just caves in this add-on, hidden throughout the world are dungeons, handcrafted structures, mini‑boss encounters, and new areas to explore. The caves are home to creatures far stronger than what you’ll find on the surface. Even simple mobs can overwhelm you if you’re not ready, and the bosses hit even harder.
A slew of new tools and gadgets like the Glider, Grappling Hook and other exploration gear open up entirely new ways to move throughout the caves. You’ll also come across Treasure Chests, rare materials, new ores, and gleaming gemstones that feed into deeper progression systems as you advance.
