Horror Creatures Add-On transforms your Minecraft experience into a survival horror challenge. Here’s a step-by-step guide to get started and thrive in this terrifying world:
Getting Started
Install the Add-On: Ensure the Horror Creatures Add-On is installed and enabled in your Minecraft world.
Adjust Settings: Before starting, you can customize difficulty, fog intensity, jump scares, night weights and other settings to tailor the horror experience to your liking.
✅ Recommended: Sky + Moon VFX → Set the render distance slider to your current render distance for the perfect experience
Vibrant Visuals Enhanced: Turn on vibrant visuals to amplify fog effects, moon phases, and atmospheric details for a more immersive horror experience.
Surviving the Nights
Five-Night Cycle: The core gameplay revolves around surviving five random nights, each bringing unique events and threats.
Red Moon Night: The deadliest night. Three sirens sound, a red moon appears, and a dark fog entity transforms unprotected animals into horror creatures and the landscape into a horror biome. Hostile monsters become stronger and emit particles when walking on dark grass.
Cyan Moon Night: Creatures spawn on the surface and in caves, but without fog.
Black Hole Night: Three sirens sound as a black hole appears. The dark fog entity transforms monsters and animals into skeleton or corpse blocks. Looking at the moon proves fatal. With perfect timing, you can gain an adrenaline strength buff.
Pink Moon Night: A peaceful night without sirens or additional threats.
Invisible Moon Night: Two sirens sound. Monsters turn invisible, emit dark auras, and gain tremendous strength. Dark fog entity and horror creatures emerge in caves, inflicting severe damage to players and animals.
Combat and Defense
Protect Your Animals: Craft and place a Shield Generator to safeguard your nearby animals from transformation and attacks.
Morph Into Creatures: Unlock and morph into nine different horror creature forms, each with unique attacks and abilities, by defeating specific creatures multiple times.
Challenge Wave Generator: Test your skills against waves of horror creatures with four escalating difficulty levels, each bringing tougher enemies and greater rewards.
Custom Weapons and Abilities: Craft and wield a variety of unique weapons and armor, each offering powerful abilities and special effects to help you survive the night.
Exploring the Horror Biome
Dark Fog Transformation: At night, the dark fog spreads across the land, transforming the entire environment into a horror biome. It attacks everything organic, grass, trees, animals, monsters, flowers, and more.
Atmospheric Changes: The world takes on a sinister look, with darkened vegetation and haunting visuals that create a fully immersive horror experience.
Jump Scares and Sounds: Prepare for terrifying jump scares and over 200 unique audio effects that intensify the eerie atmosphere and keep you on edge.
Crafting and Trading
Collect Resources: Defeated horror creatures drop “Dark Energy” and other unique materials.
Craft and Trade: Use these resources to craft new items, armor, and weapons, or trade with the in-game Trader for rare goods.
Boss Battle
Shadow Boss: Face off against the Shadow Boss in a custom arena, where you'll need to strategically use your skills and crafted gear to defeat this ultimate foe.
Challenge the boss with 3 different difficulties
Defeat the boss and trade the loot for epic weapons

Stay Prepared: Always keep your best gear equipped and stay close to your animals at night.
Use Light: Advanced flashlights and light beam weapons are essential for pushing back the darkness and transforming horror creatures.
