Ancient Serpent
Overview
The Ancient Serpent is a hostile and extremely powerful end boss that can be found in its boss arena within the Ancient Grove. When discovered, it lies dormant as stone segments spread across the area and can only be awakened through a summoning ritual. To summon it, all rune statues around the arena must be activated using different runes found in desert, forest, ice or snow, scorched, and ancient biomes. The Ancient Serpent fights in several distinct stages, during which its behavior, movement, and attacks change drastically. After all stages are defeated, it unveils the Runebreaker, which can be freed by collecting all required gems and adding them to the glowing Runebreaker. Once obtained, the Runebreaker serves as a powerful multitool used for mining.
